Privacy Policy

Effective date · June 5, 2026

This policy follows information from the moment you choose a feature through local handling, any destination you select, limited company records, and deletion. It applies to Hyper Links products and websites that display or link to this policy.

Route 01

Your chosen material

HYPER LINKS LIMITED provides utility products, including QR scanning and storage-cleaning tools. A product processes only the material needed for the feature you choose. Access to a camera, photo library, or device storage is requested only when the selected workflow needs it and the operating system makes that permission available.

QR workflowsCamera input or an image you select may be read to identify the code and show its contents. Review a code and its destination before opening it.
Cleaning workflowsSelected photos, videos, screenshots, or other eligible storage items may be reviewed so that you can decide what to keep or remove. The product does not make the final deletion decision for you.

Material that remains only on your device is controlled by you and your device settings. We cannot retrieve, restore, transfer, or delete content that we never receive.

Route 02

What may reach Hyper Links

When you visit the website or contact support, we may receive connection details such as IP address, browser or device type, language, timestamps, the page requested, and limited security or error information. If you write to us, we receive your email address, message, and any attachment or diagnostic detail you choose to include.

If a relevant product offers a trial or auto-renewing subscription, the marketplace handles payment credentials. We may receive limited product, transaction, entitlement, renewal, cancellation, expiry, or restoration status needed to provide the purchased access.

Route 03

Purpose and disclosure

We use information we actually receive to deliver a requested website or product function, answer support, verify marketplace entitlements, maintain compatibility, diagnose failures, protect the service, comply with legal obligations, and establish or defend legal claims.

Information may be disclosed to vendors acting for us when necessary for those purposes; to Apple or another marketplace for transaction and entitlement administration; to a destination you deliberately select; in response to valid legal or safety requirements; or as part of a lawful merger, financing, reorganization, acquisition, or asset transfer. Each independently operated service follows its own terms and privacy practices.

Vendors acting for Hyper Links are expected to handle information for the assigned service and according to applicable contractual and legal requirements. A QR destination, browser, photo library, backup, or marketplace may also create records independently when you choose to use it.

Route 04

Legal grounds follow the purpose

Where applicable privacy law requires a legal basis, processing may be necessary to perform the requested service or purchase, based on consent for an optional device permission, supported by legitimate interests in security, troubleshooting, service improvement, and fraud prevention, or required to meet a legal obligation.

Consent can be withdrawn through the relevant permission or privacy control. Withdrawal does not affect processing already completed lawfully and may prevent the feature that depended on that permission from continuing to work.

Route 05

How long each record remains

Retention depends on who holds the information and why it is needed.

  • On-device material: remains under your control until you delete it, clear product data, reset the device, or remove the product, subject to device backups and system recovery folders.
  • Support and operational records: are kept only as reasonably needed to answer the request, document its resolution, maintain security, prevent abuse, meet accounting or legal duties, or resolve a dispute.
  • Marketplace records: are controlled primarily by the marketplace under its policies and legal obligations.
  • De-identified records: may be retained when they can no longer reasonably identify you.
Each record follows its own holder and purpose. Local files, support messages, transaction references, and independent provider records therefore may require different deletion routes.
Route 06

Your controls and rights

You can decline or withdraw optional permissions, limit photo access where the operating system supports it, avoid an optional workflow, delete local items through the product or device, and manage an eligible subscription through the marketplace account used for purchase. Withdrawing a permission can stop the related feature from working.

Depending on where you live, you may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a portable copy of eligible personal information, withdraw consent, appeal a decision, or complain to a competent authority. We may request enough information to match the request to the correct support, technical, or transaction record. Relevant products do not require users to register a product-internal account, so our ability to locate a record may be limited.

Route 07

Safeguards, transfers, and age

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, and you remain responsible for protecting your device and reviewing material before sharing it.

Hyper Links and its providers may process information outside your country or region. Where required, appropriate contractual, organizational, or legal safeguards are used for international transfers.

The products are intended for users aged 17 and above. If local law requires a higher age or additional authorization, that requirement applies. Contact us if you believe a child’s information was provided without legally valid authorization.

Route 08

Accuracy, complaints, and request decisions

Technical and marketplace records can be incomplete or change over time. If information held by Hyper Links appears inaccurate, identify the relevant interaction and correction sought. We may be unable to alter an independently controlled marketplace, browser, destination, or device record.

Where applicable law provides that right, you may appeal a privacy-request decision or contact a competent supervisory authority. Exercising a privacy right will not result in unlawful discrimination, although deleting information or withdrawing a permission can make the related feature unavailable.

Route 09

Updates and contact

We may revise this policy when our services, data practices, marketplace requirements, security needs, or applicable law change. The current version will be posted through a product, this website, or another reasonable channel, with the effective date updated. Additional notice or consent will be provided where required before materially different processing begins.
